Next, the students came up with words associated with pumpkins.
Then the students coloured their own pumpkins and made a list of words to go with it.
After completing their pumpkin project, the students had 2 successful rotations.
We continued reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
And after recess, the students crested Word Wall Word sentences but with a little twist. Each sentence had to have the word pumpkin in it :-)
And finally, we read the crowd pleaser: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything. The students enjoyed the book so much that we read it twice.
