We had a fun morning! It included Morning Calendar, Place Value, Coin flashcards, and we practiced the /Bb/ sound by making a list of /Bb/ words.
We began rotations next.
There were students reading.
There were students working with words.

We took a well deserved Brain Break. Working in pairs the students sat back-to-back and attempted to get up without using their hands. Hilarious!
During another rotation, the First Graders read to the teacher. I love that part! :-)

After recess, the students made weather pictures and shared them with the class. We had a lot of rainbows :-)

We finished the day up with a lot of Word Wall Word chanting, in anticipation of the Word Wall Word evaluations tomorrow.
