Day 65

It's Monday, so that means we begin our day with 100 numbers!

Today, we made a perky turkey.






We then had our calendar time and a read aloud entitled The Plump and Perky Turkey.
We had 3 rotations. During one of the rotations, Isaiah stated to read!!!



Every other year, I do a card exchange so our students can see what other classes do and more importantly look on a map for the schools location as the cards arrive. Last week, I received confirmation about our 2014-2015 holiday card exchange. We will be sending out 30 cards.

After lunch, we continued reading The Creature Department.

And after recess, the students made words. We worked on the -ine and the -ice word families.

NOTES:


  • You will be able to pick up your child's Report Card on Thursday or Friday (November 20-21, 2014). 
  • Folders tend to "go missing" over the holidays :-) So, I will not be returning folders on Friday, November 21st. I will keep them safe and sound for the holiday week.
  • There will be no elementary school next week, however child care will be available Monday, November 24th through Wednesday, November 26th. Camelot School will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
  • As I mentioned above, we will be sending out 30 cards and I would really appreciate some help with the postage.
