Even with the rain, we had a great day.
We started by singing Happy Birthday to Dakota. His birthday was on Sunday but we celebrated today. We had a sing-a-long and later in day we had cupcakes that were provided by Dakota's mom and dad.
We completed calendar and bounced right into our Daily five rotations.
Since the students were introduced to 5 new activities in Math Works and 2 new activities in Word Works, I wanted the students to have a little more rotation time today. Our goal was three 30-minute rotations. And we accomplished that goal.
