This summer, I introduced the students to Minecraft.
Minecraft is the ultimate in sandbox games. A sandbox game is a game that has no particular objective. You more or less make the game what you want it to be. There is no competition between players (unless you want to compete amongst yourselves). There are no particular set of skills need---just your imagination.
I love the way students have enjoyed the game for the last three months, during summer camp. And to finish off our summer together with a Creeper Hissssssss KaBoooooom, I will give students a Minecraft Challenge to work on cooperatively for the last 4 days.
I hope you guys are up for it! I look forward to what you guys come up with.
