We celebrated 2 birthdays today! Megan's birthday is on Saturday and Liliana's birthday is on Sunday.
Liliana's mom was nice enough to bring cupcakes and a balloon for her daughter and one for Megan. Very sweet!

We painted, as a class, for the first time today. With a selection of blue, indigo, and gray paper; the students painted both sides of the paper with white paint.
Once the paint was dried, the papers were cut into cloud shapes. These clouds will adorn the classroom soon.
We read a special birthday book. Happy Birthday to You by Dr. Seuss is one of my favourites. You have to love that Birthday Bird!
After recess, the students had a little classroom play. Izabella, Nora, and I worked with Tangrams.
