We began our day in our gathering place reviewing our calendar and then we moved on to the story of Chrysanthemum. We spelled our names and noted how many letters we had in our names. Most students had 6 letters in their name.
Izabella had the most letters in her name and Nora had the least.
Each of the students then made a page for a classroom book. You can see the final edition of the book at Open House in October :-)
