Here is a recap from Friday, Day 123!

The highest score from today's First Grade Spelling test:

Anthony 100%

Kindergarten and First Grade students were tested on Word Wall Words today. Here are the top scores:

Anthony (F) 100% 

Nathan (K) 100%

We started the day with Calendar and Spiral Math.

The some of the Kindergarteners had their very first Spelling Evaluation! ALL of them earned a 100%!!!! They were so excited!

Day 122

We started our day with a game of Make 10!

We followed out game with our Calendar and Spiral Math.

There was a lot of learning during rotation time!

Students read to themselves.

Students worked at the conference table.

And some students read with me.

 It was a greatly productive day! See you Day 123!

REMINDER: Some kindergarten students have their first Spelling Evaluation tomorrow! They are excited!

Day 121

We began Day 121 with a listening skills activity.

Next, we completed Calendar and Spiral Math.

During rotation time some students had earned enough points to have MobyMax game time.

this time Nathan was presented with his XtraMath certificate for completing 100 addition facts in less than 5 minutes.

Anthony finished his story from yesterday and presented it to the class.

He also had time to read to me.

Look at Anthony's great new glasses!

Day 120

If it's Tuesday; it must be Making Words time!

After Making Words, we completed out Calendar and Spiral Math.

Since we worked up to the word monkeys we read

And then watch...

During rotations, Anthony worked on writing.

While others shopped for books and worked on Math Works and Word Works.

Day 119

We welcomed in Monday, Day 119 with a 100 Chart!

Look at how cute those kitties are!

To continue our cute kitty theme we read Cookie's Week by Cindy Ward and Tomie dePaola.

Students completed Spiral Math.

To work with this week's Word Wall Words; some of the students acted out the words.

We had great rotations.

And Megan drew and coloured the cover for her bear story.
