Day 143

It was the last day before Spring Break and Day 143!

We began the day with a preview of Kindergarten Spelling sentences for Week #29.



And we also did Calendar and Spiral Math.


Before lunch, the students had their Easter egg hunt.

Day 142

Again we are having Internet problems, so again this post may not be complete. Check back later for additions and changes.

We began our day with  Calendar Math, Spiral Math, Word Wall review, and Kindergarten Spelling sentences.



It was game day. So those who had accumulated time on Moby Max for gaming played on the tablets during one rotation period.


 Anthony continued to work on his story-- Rain, Rain, Go Away.


While others worked on various activities.



We even had time to make Easter egg bags for the hunt tomorrow.




REMINDERS
  • Kindergarteners will have a sentence on their Spelling test tomorrow. They have been practicing the sentences all week. Here is a link to the sentences if you want practice them tonight.

Day 141

It was Wednesday, Day 141.

We began our day with Calendar Math, Spiral Math, and Kindergarten Spelling sentences.




We review this week's Word Wall Words with a little hopping, spinning, and marching.





And then we headed off to rotations.






During rotations, Anthony worked diligently to complete the final portion of his 4-part Class Rules writing assignment.

Day 140

It is Tuesday, Day 140, so we started our day with Making Words!









Our final word was planets.



We completed Calendar and Spiral Math.



Students were introduced to a new Kindergarten Word Works activity. This activity will coincide with their Spelling words as we begin to work with more sentence construction and writing.



And then we completed rotations.




REMINDER:

Next week is Spring Break and there will be no elementary school.

Preface: We are having Internet issues again, so this post may be only partly complete.

It's Monday, so we began the day with a springy Spring 100-Chart!


We continued on with Calendar Math, Spiral Math, and Kindergarten Spelling sentences.

Day 137

Today was game day. We started with a lively question and answer game.

Anthony won for the First Graders and Izabella won for the Kindergarteners. The Kindergartener winner came down to a three-way tie and a tie-breaker question. Taniya and Tyler came in tied for third place.


We completed Calendar and Spiral Math.


During rotations, students did some subtraction,...




...shopped for books,...


...and did some writing.
